OPINEL knive with rescue whistle, shackle opener and part-serrated blade
A specially designed model of the popular French knife by OPINEL, developed especially for maritime, outdoor and emergency employment. In contrast to the standard OPINEL knifes the blade is made from rust proof, robust Sandvik steel 12C27. It is equipped with a recess for opening shackles. The blade is lockable after the OPINEL principle VIROBLOC, with the far end sharpened specifically jagged for cutting rope and cord of different fibres quickly and safely in an emergency. The near part of the blade is cleanly sharpened for smooth cuts.
The handle is made from strong plastic with an integrated rescue whistle (110 dB max).
