HYE Tufnol yacht block single sheave fixed bracket
The TUFNOL block has become a classic over the years. Made from seawater-resistant laminated corse fibers with stainless steel fittings. These blocks are maintenance-free and known to be exceptionally long-lived. The TUFNOL sheaves have brass bearings, through which wear and friction are kept very low. These blocks fit exceptionally well aboard classic yachts from the 1950s and 60s and are also ideal as universal blocks.The high breaking strengths have been tested by Germanisher Lloyd (GR). The maximum working load specified by the manufacturer is 50% of the breaking load (BRL).Warning: The given rope diameter (D1) is only good for very supple, braided rope. For stiff or laid rope, choose larger blocks or blocks from the heavier series (Art.-Nr. 1122-....).Available with or without becket (Hdf in the drawing).

BARTON TuPhblox cam cleat made of the well-proven reddish-brown Tufnol laminate. The cleat provides reliable load holding due to its high profile and robust, wear-resistant mechanism with stainless steel springs. Holding power is 230–260 kg depending on size.Mounting is via countersunk through sleeves integrated into the jaws, designed for M5 screws. Fastening is carried out from above.Available in two sizes for different rope diameters, each version with or without an integrated stainless steel fairlead.Tufnol is a multilayer, fabric-reinforced, resin-bonded laminate pressed under heat and pressure. The material is relatively light, offers high mechanical strength as well as high wear and corrosion resistance, and is seawater resistant.
