JABSCO Impeller
Original JABSCO impeller for installation on most cooling water bilge pumps and universal pumps.
To keep motors and pumps running smoothly, choosing the right impeller is critical. In addition to the hub mount and size, the material of the impeller should match its application:
Neoprene is the most commonly used material for impellers and is suitable wherever only small amounts of oil or diesel fuel are present. Neoprene impellers are therefore suitable for engine cooling and for salt or fresh water pumping.
Nitrile is oil resistant and can also be used for heavily polluted water. Impellers made of nitrile are therefore suitable for bilge and bilge pumps.
The impellers are usually supplied with a matching paper cover gasket.
