Wet wood must not be used in boat building, otherwise you run the risk of the material cracking, deforming, moulding or developing wood rot. With the HUMIDCHECK PRO you can easily and professionally check the wood moisture content. The device is also well suited for checking suspicious wooden parts on board for defects and rot. The HUMIDCHECK PRO can also be used at home to determine whether the stored firewood can already be burned in the stove effectively.
The device has 8 calibration scales for approx. 150 types of wood. On the topside of the robust housing there are two measuring tips to be pressed into the wood. An additional external sensor can be driven deeper into the wood. A separate sensor simultaneously detects the temperature and takes it into account when measuring the material moisture.
Measuring range 6 - 99.9%.
Includes bag and batteries (2 x 1.5 AAA).
