KIWI GRIP Non-Skid Deck Coating
Acrylic-based anti-slip coating from New Zealand: KIWI GRIP is excellently suited for creating slip-resistant and non-skid surfaces. The product is water-dilutable, single-component, and still resistant to environmental influences such as saltwater and UV radiation. The coating is available in four colors and comes in a resealable plastic pouch that allows for economical application. The color can also be tinted with water-based color pastes.
Application: Application should not be carried out in direct sunlight and high temperatures above 30°C to prevent unevenly fast drying. On non-absorbent substrates such as steel and fiberglass, a suitable primer is recommended.
KIWI GRIP has a thick, yogurt-like consistency when undiluted, which, in combination with the texture roller, creates a coarse surface. By diluting the paint with water (up to 10%) or using, for example, fur rollers, the intensity and texture of the product can be individually adjusted.
Before application, tape off the surface to be painted to create a clean edge. KIWI GRIP can be applied with a toothed spatula. Then work over with the included texture roller to create the rough surface. Remove the tape while the paint is still wet. The paint dries within a few hours but is only fully loadable after complete curing. Clean tools with water.
The product is delivered in a practical plastic pouch including texture roller and application instructions.
Note on the color chart: The colors shown are as close as possible to the original colors, but slight variations cannot be ruled out.
