The compasses of the C20 series are MED/SOLAS and USCG approved (US COASTGUARD) and come with a certificate.
The compasses are robust instruments specially designed for commercial shipping and for vessels requiring equipment. They are available in different versions.

The model C20-00131 is a fully gimballed magnetic steering compass that can be used as a replacement compass in commercial shipping and vessels requiring equipment.

The compass has a compass card with a diameter of 125 mm and an easily readable 1° graduation.
The compass is supplied in a wooden box.

A bearing device and compensation magazines B+C (in pairs) are available as accessories.

Available accessories for the compasses of the C20 series from AUTONAUTIC:Bearing device with degree ringB+C compensation magazinesThe bearing device is used for side bearings and compass bearings. The degree ring has a full-circle degree marking. A thread sight on the object side and a slit sight on the observer side are used for taking bearings. A shadow pin for insertion into the centre piece is included.The bearing device must be ordered together with the compass if required, as it requires factory adjustment.B+C Compensations are used to correct the ship's longitudinal (B) and transverse (C) fields. This compensation is generally recommended for all magnetic compasses.The compensation device consists of two magazines, one for the B compensation (neutralises the permanent fore-and-aft field and one for the C compensation (neutralises the permanent athwartships field). Both magazines are identical. The magazines can be opened by loosening the two screws visible at the top and removing the U-shaped covers. There are two magnets in each of the magazines that can be inserted into the different holes.
