POS6 Monitoring Module, 12/24V, 6 Channels, PHILIPPI
The POS 6 Position Light Monitoring Module is a module designed to monitor position lights in a yacht’s electrical system; it monitors up to six position lights simultaneously and immediately signals the failure of a light bulb, LEDs, or a broken wire immediately with a flashing light and an audible alarm that can be turned off. It is suitable for 12-V and 24-V electrical systems.
It detects both LED and incandescent bulb failures as well as wiring connection issues.
This alerts the crew if parts of the safety-critical lighting system on board fail at night, posing a potential safety risk to maritime traffic.
It can be easily retrofitted into existing systems. The POS 6 also serves as the electronic foundation for numerous Philippi Series 100 and 200 circuit distributors, which offer integrated position light monitoring with an alarm.
