EXIDE GEL batteries were developed to supply special-purpose vehicles such as fire engines, police cars, rescue vehicles, military, industrial and commercially used vehicles with high energy requirements with energy.
They offer reliable starting power plus maximum energy for high cyclical loads during professional applications. Compared with the HD truck starter battery, the EXIDE GEL offers a much higher number of cycles at the same depth of discharge and initially increases its cold-start performance, which it then consistently retains over its entire life.
Its form of construction offers you a high level of flexibility for installation (either in the passenger compartment or in stowage boxes, saving up to 30% in space), maintenance advantages (absolutely maintenance-free and suitable for long standing times) as well as being extremely robust (high degree of vibration and inclination resistance, spill- and leak-proof).
The gel technology used (gel-type electrolyte) with a Ca/Ca allow and valve-controlled VRLA ventilation covers a capacity range of 450 to 2400 Wh and thus offers a wide choice for cutting-edge and highly demanding applications and emergency rescue vehicles.
