MED approval as an embarkation ladder. Our heavy-duty boat ladder - manufactured in accordance with the ISO 799 standard for pilot ladders - has hardwood steps with non-slip grooves and the bottom two steps are made of heavy rubber. This prevents the ladder from floating. The rope is a 3-strand Manila natural fiber rope with a diameter of 18 mm. The steps are pressed in with aluminum press-fit sleeves and have a spacing of 330 mm. There are spliced-in thimbles on the top. The wooden ladder can be used as a swimming ladder or as a man-overboard rescue ladder. Dimensions of the steps:Wooden step: 525 x 120 x 28 mm.Rubber step: 530 x 115 x 52 mm. Longer ladders are available on request.

MED/SOLAS approval in accordance with ISO 799:2019, DNV-GL:0575.The steps of the pilot ladder are made of hardwood with non-slip grooves. The bottom four steps are made of rubber and long deflector steps serve as anti-twist protection.The steps are pressed into the cordage using the patented PTR system with aluminum sleeves, colored plastic shims prevent the steps from tilting and form the length marking system prescribed by SOLAS. The distance between the steps is 330 mm. The rope used is a three-strand Manila natural fiber rope with a diameter of 18 mm.At the top end of each side of the ladder there is a rope end with a spliced-in thimble and a three-meter-long rope end. Dimensions of the steps:Wooden step short: 525 x 120 x 28 mmDeflector step: 1800 x 120 x 28 mmRubber step: 530 x 115 x 52 mmSupplied with factory certificate.These ladders are available up to 70 m in length or as a single-boarding ladder (without long deflector steps).
