Beautiful, compact foreship windlass, made entirely of bronze and stainless steel. The windlass combines a robust warping capstan with a horizontal chain sprocket. Sprocket for DIN 766 chain in 10 mm or 13 mm. The chain wheel can be braked and disengaged using a standard winch handle (not included).The chain inlet is integrated into the base plate of the windlass. Electric windlass model TIGRES for boats up to 15 m in length from the renowned manufacturer LOFRANS. The housing is made of seawater resistant aluminum alloy and anodized silver.  The reversible electric motor for retrieving and freeing the chain has a powerful output of 1500 watts. The thermal circuit breaker protects the electric motor of the Lofrans windlass from overloads.For the LOFRANS TIGRES windlass, the 100A circuit breaker is recommended for the 12 volt version and the 70A circuit breaker for the 24 volt version.For other Lofrans windlasses you can look up the necessary circuit breaker in the manual (under ´Downloads´).
