As a traditional ship outfitter, we offer more than 15,000 items of equipment. Made of brass, bronze, or wood, but also modern materials. Simply (almost) everything that the traditional ship owner, the classic boat builder, as well as the skipper of a modern yacht expects from their outfitter.

Deck fittings, cleats, winches, portholes, rigging fittings, rope and wire, handcrafted blocks, anchors, chains, anchor windlasses, paints, varnishes and impregnations, boat building and rigging tools, brass fittings for interior outfitting, ship stoves and heaters, pumps and sanitary equipment, kerosene lamps, ship clocks, navigation instruments and safety equipment, as well as textbooks and hand-picked specialist literature.

A house made of wood

The office and warehouse are constructed entirely using timber frame construction. The renewable raw material wood binds CO2, which sustainably reduces our carbon footprint and ensures a pleasant indoor climate that is conducive to working.

Green roof

Plants grow on our roof that not only bind CO2, but also absorb fine dust from the air, store rainwater, and provide shelter and breeding grounds for birds and insects. They insulate so well that we don't need air conditioning and save on heating costs.

Geothermal heating

A geothermal heat pump in the basement not only reliably generates environmentally friendly heat for heating and water, it also makes us less dependent on fossil fuels.

Green energy

Energy-saving technology has been installed in the building, which is powered by 100% green electricity from Germany. Nevertheless, we also take care to use energy sparingly.

Mobility

Cycling to work is part of our everyday routine, which is why we have covered parking spaces, a shower in the basement, and a company bicycle available for loan. Those who still prefer to take the bus receive a subsidy for their local transport ticket.

Regional suppliers

Many of our suppliers come from Germany and Europe. We work with many small and medium-sized companies with whom we have had a close working relationship for many years.

Packaging recycling

We accept used cardboard boxes from the neighbourhood and send them on a journey a second time. By reusing them, not only paper but also water and energy are saved. We are registered with RePacket and reuse.me.

Waste separation

We separate paper, recyclables, batteries, scrap metal, glass, etc., and send them for recycling. In a worm bin, worms convert organic waste into compost.
